Miranda Macpherson is an internationally respected spiritual teacher who has been travelling from her home in California to Ireland for the last 7 years to offer annual spiritual retreats here. Her work has and continues to touch many people in a deeply transformative way and, for many of us, this annual retreat with Miranda provides both spiritual nurture and support as well as time out from our busy lives to simply be.
A transformative weekend of profound spiritual teaching, supported self-inquiry, meditation, chanting and prayer taking us on a journey through and beyond the habits of mind to access the deeper dimensions of being.
The beautiful setting of Dromantine Retreat Centre (75 mins from Belfast and Dublin) drew many people from across Europe to join us in 2016 and we expect all 50 residential places to be taken very quickly after the announcement of this retreat for 2017 so early booking is strongly advised. The cost of the full retreat including all meals, single ensuite rooms and Miranda's teaching is only £320 (this can be paid over 8 months if preferred).
While you may have heard other non-dual spiritual teachers, we can assure you that Miranda is quite unique. She is generating excitement around the world as a spiritual pioneer who has steeped herself in the world’s mystical traditions and developed a unique body of teachings. She has a down-to-earth, no-nonsense directness that flows from her Australian upbringing, which is paired with a honeyed voice that calls us tenderly home — her words like a mother’s lullaby (and it’s no coincidence that she is a beautiful singer weaving chanting mantras as well as profound meditations throughout her teachings). Miranda’s work is a synthesis of self-inquiry, spiritual psychology, devotion and meditation practice offered with a feminine grace that embraces our everyday human experience as a gateway into the depths of our true nature. Through a blend of silent transmission and articulate teaching, she leads retreats and on-going programs oriented to guiding people into direct spiritual experience while providing a practical map for actualizing our realization into daily life. Drawing from the ancient lineages of Advaita and mystical Christianity, along with more recent wisdom teachings such as A Course In Miracles, Miranda leads from the ground of unconditional love and compassion for our humanity — emphasizing receptivity, discrimination and surrender.

She also has many free video and audio teachings
as well as powerful guided meditations available here.
During this weekend retreat with Miranda, you’ll be able to relax into a larger field of grace — feel the healing balm of unconditional love AS yourself — and learn why so many of your efforts to improve, grow and evolve leave you unsatisfied. She’ll share how you can empty out, again and again, to allow grace to fill you up in a way that creates a lasting sense of fulfillment.
Grace comes alive when you surrender. This is not the same thing as collapsing, self-rejection or being passive. Grace dances with your deep trust, honesty, devotion, curiosity, compassion, humility, willingness and patience — all so your ego can let go of the reins.
By learning to let go of your habits of control, you can become receptive to grace at a deeper level than your mind. In the space beyond your strategies, you can discover that strength, clarity, wisdom and love are abundantly present — allowing you to meet life's personal and collective challenges with spiritual maturity.
During this retreat, you’ll learn more about how to soften your ego’s control structures, relax into a larger field of grace and experience the healing balm of unconditional love AS yourself. You’ll also learn why so many of your efforts to improve, grow and evolve leave you unsatisfied.

How do I get to Dromantine Conference Centre?
Dromantine Conference Centre is located just outside Newry off A1 from Belfast to Dublin. You can find a map and full directions here. We suggest leaving at least 45 mins if driving from Belfast and just over an hour if driving from Dublin.
TRAIN OR BUS:
There are regular buses to Newry from both Belfast and Dublin - www.translink.co.uk, www.aircoach.ie, www.buseireann.ie or www.irishrail.ie. A taxi from Newry will cost £10-12. Please ensure that you tell the taxi driver that you are going to DROMANTINE CONFERENCE CENTRE and not just Dromantine (which is a nearby village).
Flying to Dublin is probably easiest because you can then catch theAircoachdirectly to Newry (see above). If you are flying into either of the airports in Belfast then there are buses which will take you to the city centre and you can get either bus or train to Newry from there (see above)
There are a limited number of very comfortable en suite rooms available which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to book additional nights to extend your retreat then pleasecontact the teamat Dromantine Conference Centre directly.
The full residential retreat includes evening meals at 6pm on Friday 5 May and Saturday 6 May as well as breakfast and lunch on Saturday 6 May and Sunday 7 May. Residents can also help themselves to tea/coffee/herbals throughout the weekend. All meals will be vegetarian/pescatarian and gluten-free but please notify us now if you have any other special dietary requirements.
